The Sacrament of Reconciliation, sometimes referred to as Penance and Confession, is the Sacrament that gives us the privilege of experiencing re-unity and peace with God, others, and ourselves. This Sacrament of conversion offers us the opportunity for freedom from sin and guilt so that we may more fully live out our baptismal promises in the image and likeness of God.

Reconciliation Schedule

First Reconciliation for Children
Celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation is an experience that many of our children are anxious about, yet this Sacrament is about joy and wholeness in Christ!  We work with our children to understand this Sacrament as part of God’s gift to us so we may be in better relationship with him, and with others!

Need more information?  Contact the parish office at (410) 427-7500.

If you are baptized and participating in the RCIA process, this will be included. If you have already received the initiation sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and Eucharist, call the parish office at 410-427-7500 for more information.

All children in grades 2 and up who are enrolled in Catholic School or Religious Education, and have been for at least one year prior, are invited to prepare for this Sacrament. Preparation for First Reconciliation is done at home, with supporting curriculum in our parish school and religious education program. The process begins with parent information meetings held in the Fall.

This process is generally done as part of the preparation for First Eucharist.
