Members of this committee assess the condition of the parish buildings to assure that they are in excellent, safe and sound condition. The committee is looking for parishioners that can offer expertise in Architecture and electrical fields. The assistance needed is to assist with planning and development of specifications and ideas in relation to the property / buildings. We are also looking for volunteers to assist in maintaining the school and church grounds. This would require a Saturday morning twice a year.

Social Affairs
By bringing the parish together in a spirit of fellowship, we hope to strengthen the bonds that make St. Pius X such a vibrant community. Not insignificantly, the social affairs planned and executed by hundreds of volunteers also contribute to the fundraising activities of the parish. The various social affairs planned by St. Pius X, from the Spaghetti Dinner to the Carnival to dances and crab feasts plus others are celebrated each year and require the dedicated involvement of scores of volunteers. Each event has a different staffing need, but each chairperson is always happy to have an extra pair of hands! To get involved watch the bulletin for announcements of upcoming events, or call the Parish Office.
